Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.Use computer and/or Radio Frequency Unit to record and track product.Other duties and special projects as requested.Must maintain good attendance.Maintain safe work practices.Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.Moves levers and presses pedals to drive forklift/reach truck and control the movement of the lifting apparatusPositions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxed products, or materials and transports load to designated areaUnloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting deviceLoads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids or lifting deviceOperates material handling equipment to move, convey, or hoist cartons from picking area to the dockMinimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude--High School diploma or equivalent required.Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:A minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere, including receiving, pulling orders, packing and shipping preferred.Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.) preferred.Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed.Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.Have to work in all department (Dry, Cooler, Freezer)Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
