If you have a strong background in fire protection, particularly in the construction industry, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing water-based fire protection systems, ensuring they are in full compliance with safety standards and regulations. Installing, inspecting, and maintaining water-based fire protection systems, including fire sprinklers and fire pumps.2. Performing routine checks and maintenance tasks to ensure fire protection systems are in working order.3. Diagnosing and repairing faults in fire sprinkler systems.4. Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.5. Providing technical support and advice to colleagues and clients on fire protection matters.6. Completing detailed reports on all inspections, maintenance, and repair work carried out.7. Keeping up to date with the latest developments in fire protection technology and regulations.Qualifications:To be considered for the role of Fire Sprinkler Technician, you will need:1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the fire protection or construction industry.2. Proven experience working with fire sprinkler systems.3. Certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in fire protection or a similar field is highly desirable.4. A deep understanding of water-based fire protection systems and safety standards.5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and repair faults in fire sprinkler systems.6. Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide technical advice in clear, understandable language.7.
