In this role, you will provide advanced neonatal care across
Level II and Level III NICU settings, managing a diverse patient
population with varying levels of acuity. Providers are trusted to
exercise strong clinical judgment, participate in patient
management decisions, and deliver evidence-based care that supports
both infants and their families.
Beyond direct patient care, you'll have opportunities to
contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical protocols,
education programs, and leadership development efforts. The

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide advanced neonatal care in Level II and Level III NICU
settings
- Assess, diagnose, and manage neonatal patients utilizing
evidence-based practices
- Collaborate closely with Neonatologists, nursing staff, and
interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in daily patient management and care planning
- Exercise autonomous clinical judgment within scope of
practice
- Support implementation and development of clinical protocols
and best practices
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and
outcome-focused projects
- Assist with program development and policy implementation
efforts
- Educate patients' families regarding treatment plans and care
expectations
- Mentor and support new and existing clinical staff
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Engage in continuing education and professional development
activities
Required Qualifications
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
certification
- Active or eligible Arizona licensure
- Current national certification appropriate to role
- Ability to practice in neonatal intensive care settings
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
skills
Preferred Background
- Prior NICU experience
- Experience working in Level III NICU environments
- Participation in quality improvement or clinical practice
initiatives
- Experience mentoring or educating clinical staff
- Interest in leadership and program development activities
