Speech Language Pathologist Location: Chandler, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,350 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist Profession: SLP Specialty: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Not specified Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Time management Point of care documentation Knowledge of GG scoring Description: High-quality rehabilitation care is available in various locations. The facilities are dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to individual patient needs. Types of Care Offered: Neurological Rehabilitation: This doctor-supervised program is designed for patients with injuries to the brain, spinal cord, or nerves. Patients with neurological injuries may have difficulty moving freely, speaking, swallowing, breathing, or learning. Spinal Cord Injuries: Comprehensive rehabilitation is offered for patients with spinal cord injuries, whether traumatic or non-traumatic. Specialized and coordinated processes are in place to increase physical, emotional, and psychological abilities. Brain Injuries: Therapists possess specialized skills and training to recognize the unique needs of individuals with brain injuries. Consistent and structured rehabilitation is provided to address physical dysfunction, cognitive impairments, and behavioral issues. Stroke Rehabilitation: A multidisciplinary team provides specialty care to help individuals regain function following a stroke. The goal is to achieve the most complete recovery possible through prevention, recognition, assessment, and treatment of stroke-related conditions. Amputation Care: A multidisciplinary team with specialized training and experience provides evidence-based care for patients with amputations. Focus is on restoring strength and confidence, regaining function and mobility, and returning individuals to independent lives. Orthopedic Care: This program prepares patients recovering from fractures, dislocations, or joint replacements to transition back home and into the community. Objectives are established based on individual patient needs, including gait training, stair climbing, transfer training, muscle strengthening, and fall safety. Wound Care: Appropriate care is provided for wounds that are not healing properly, which can save life and limb. A dedicated team consists of independently practicing physicians, dieticians, and nurses focused on wound healing. Respiratory Therapy: Respiratory therapists are specialists and educators in airway management. They provide oxygen therapy, tracheostomy care, CPAP, and BiPAP. Intravenous Antibiotics: IV antibiotic therapy and PICC line insertion are available. Unit Information: Number of Beds: 40 Patient Ratios: 8 patients per therapist, plus 1-2 assistants & 1 rehab tech Equipment includes advanced technology for rehabilitation. EHR is utilized for documentation. Patient population mainly includes adults. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach with the rehabilitation team.
