Health Arizona is searching for an Obstetrics and Gynecology
Certified Nurse Midwife to join one of their prestigious Women’s
Health Care Centers in Phoenix, AZ. Join a compassionate group who

are encouraged to apply! About the Practice The practice has been
providing women in the Phoenix metro area with outstanding
obstetrical and gynecological care. The practice has a team of over
110 providers along with an excellent support staff. Deliveries and
surgeries are performed at Banner Health, Dignity Health, and Honor
Health Hospital Networks that provide the practice with hospitalist
and women’s health subspecialist support. This is a great
opportunity for an experienced physician to take their career to
the next level and an excellent practice for a new graduating
resident to start their career in private practice with a team of
physicians that can provide training and mentorship. Practice
Highlight Practice has a strong patient base and has worked with
patients in the Phoenix metro area. Top-notch team of over 110
providers in the practice. Deliveries and GYN surgeries are done at
Banner Health, Dignity Health, and Honor Health Hospital Networks
which provides the practice with hospitalist and women’s health
subspecialist physician support, a level 4 NICU, and the da Vinci
robotic system for specialized GYN surgical procedures. Patient
Census: 20-25/daily per OB/GYN. Average of 10-12 deliveries monthly
for each practice physician. Call is approximately 1-2 weekday(s)
per week and 1 weekend(s) per month. Excellent mentorship
opportunities for a physician entering private practice.
Competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities Prenatal
Care: Provide comprehensive prenatal care to pregnant women,
including prenatal screenings, assessments, and education. Monitor
fetal development, maternal health, and pregnancy progress through
regular prenatal visits. Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses,
and other healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans
for pregnant patients. Labor and Delivery: Manage and support women
during labor and childbirth, providing emotional support, pain
management, and guidance throughout the birthing process. Conduct
labor assessments, monitor fetal heart rate, and provide hands-on
support during labor and delivery. Collaborate with obstetricians
and other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe and
effective delivery outcomes. Postpartum Care: Provide postpartum
care and support to new mothers and newborns, including
breastfeeding assistance, newborn care education, and maternal
health assessments. Monitor and address postpartum complications,
including physical and emotional health concerns, and provide
appropriate interventions and referrals as needed. Gynecological
Care: Provide routine gynecological care to women, including annual
exams, contraceptive counseling, and menopausal management. Perform
gynecological screenings, such as Pap smears and breast exams, and
provide education on women's health issues and preventive care.
Patient Education and Counseling: Educate patients and families on
prenatal care, childbirth preparation, newborn care, breastfeeding,
and women's health topics. Provide counseling and support to women
and families regarding reproductive health decisions, family
planning options, and pregnancy-related concerns. Collaboration and
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with obstetricians, nurses,
midwives, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and
integrated patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary team
meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to
enhance patient outcomes and quality of care. Benefits Paid Time

degree in Nurse Midwifery from an accredited program required.
Current certification as a Nurse Midwife (CNM) by the American
Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Current licensure as a
Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Arizona. Minimum of 2-3 years
of clinical experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife, preferably in
a women's health or OBGYN setting. Strong clinical skills with
proficiency in prenatal, childbirth, and postpartum care. Excellent
communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills. Ability to
work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.

professional development in women's health.
