Behavioral Health Tech Location: Eloy, AZ Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 7 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Psychologist Location: Florence, Arizona, United States Schedule: Full-time, on-site Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Psychologist to join a mental health team in a correctional setting. This role provides comprehensive psychological services, assessments, and treatment plans for individuals in a secure facility. The ideal candidate has a strong clinical background, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and level of functioning. Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other clinical staff to ensure integrated care. Make regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess mental health and inmate adjustment. Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques to provide treatment and interventions for individuals in crisis. Provide appropriate interventions to address behavioral escalations and mental health concerns. Consult with security, medical, and educational staff to understand and manage patient behavior and treatment follow-up. Must-Haves / Required Qualifications Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) . Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of practice (Arizona or eligible to obtain). Two years of clinical experience , including one year in a comparable role . Valid Driver s License . Ability to work on-site in a correctional facility housing both male and female individuals . Preferred Qualifications Experience in institutional or forensic psychology. Strong interpersonal and multidisciplinary collaboration skills. Crisis intervention experience in high-stress environments.
