Surgical Tech Location: Glendale, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,271 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 8 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Surgical Technician Profession: OR Surgical Tech Specialty: OR/Surgery Duration: 8 weeks minimum / 16 weeks maximum Shift: 06:00 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: Certified Surgical Technician Must-Have: - Experience in aseptic techniques in the operating room. - Ability to set up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies for surgical cases. - Proficient in scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgical procedures. - Capability to pull cases as needed and break down cases at the end of procedures. - Familiarity with setting up the operating room and supplies for the day or following day's schedule. - Availability for call on an assigned, scheduled basis as required by unit needs. Description: The Surgical Technician is responsible for maintaining aseptic technique in the operating room. They set up required equipment, instrumentation, and sterile supplies as needed for assigned cases. They scrub and pass instruments and equipment during surgical procedures. The technician pulls cases as required and breaks down cases at the end of procedures. They prepare the operating room and supplies for the current and next day’s schedule.
