Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years ICU experience required
License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS,
BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience Experience in a 600
bed teaching facility Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to
acceptance Competency in maintaining sterile field during clinical
procedures Description: The position requires experience in a
fast-paced, critical care environment. Candidates must be able to
work effectively in an intensive care unit setting. The unit
consists of multiple ICU areas, accommodating a total of 120 beds.
RNs will be responsible for titrating drips and interpreting tele
monitoring strips. Floating among various ICU units may be
required, as well as MedSurg/Tele units. RNs are expected to
conduct bedside procedures such as bronchoscopy and tracheostomy
care. The patient population may include cases such as sepsis,
trauma, and post-operative recovery. Nurses must uphold high
standards of care and adhere to all departmental policies.
Self-scheduling is allowed with schedulers retaining the right to
rebalance the schedule. Weekend shifts are required, with a total
of four weekend shifts every four weeks. Holidays will be scheduled
