Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Phoenix, AZ Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $1,981 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Mindlance Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85001! ID: 74175288 Shift: 12H Nights 12hr shifts, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays per unit coverage Description: Unit Solutions Pre-Screens, if clinical recommends, send to mgr for approval to offer, no 2nd interview candidate is required to pass DYS exam PRIOR to accepting. 2 attempts, if failed, DNU for 6 months with CS AZ and Sac Region 50 mile radius rule, DL is source of truth, please include with submission, no local rates*Travel Teams must have their own vehicles*must have natural hair color and no facial piercings*men must clean shave for fit test*pass fail exam on day 1 of orientation - details to followDAY 1 PASS FAIL EXAM: STUDY GUIDE PROVIDED WIH FDIAll RNs will be expected to complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes, with the exception of NyICU & ED. NyICU only has to do Foley catheter insertion. ED does Foley catheter insertion but does port-a-cath insertion instead of central line dressing change. This is for travelers going to St. Joseph main campus &/or St. Joseph Westgate campus. NOTE - SIMs lab is pass/fail & nurses have been termed during SIMs Lab for breaking sterile field. Those travelers that understand sterile field typically pass SIMs Lab skills (See separate notes for the specific checklist IF traveler asks for additional details). The hospital expects that every nurse is competent in these areas, especially maintaining sterile field, as these are nursing skills that are performed frequently. NOTE: if a candidate indicates that they are not competent in either of these areas, they are probably not a good fit. In addition to SIMs Lab, they will also go through lifts, restraints, & wound care, but these are just educational based since the equipment & policies can be different facility to facility. - Unit: Oncology Acute Tele T6- beds: 32- Certs; BLS, ACLS. Chemo certified a plus.- Ratios: 1:4 ratio- EMR: Cerner- Charge Nurse: Yes, light patient assignment. Oncology resource RN.- Nurse Aides: 2 PCTs days and nights- Weekend Requirement: At least 1 weekend per month.- Holidays: Work into rotation.- Scrub Color: Navy- Tele: Phillips. RN to interpret EKG.- Vents: Bipap, Cpap- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: No- IV Team: SWAT RN available for difficult IV sticks.- RT 24/7: Yes - Pharmacy 24/7: Yes- Shifts: 7-7 shifts- Floating: Float to other MedSurg/Tele units- Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: 85% Oncology patients / 15% Tele medsurg. Surgical, medical, Oncology patients. Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN Required: License to , willing to wait Trauma Level:1 Care Shift shifts, 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks, holidays per unit coverage Required , BLS Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Weeks:91 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing A diverse portfolio of experiences adds depth to your professional profile.
