to find a qualified Neuro RN in Phoenix, Arizona, 85013! Job Title:

Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required
Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience -
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance - Competency
in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes -
Ability to titrate drips (Amiodarone, Cardizem, Insulin) - Must
have a natural hair color and no facial piercings - Men must be
clean-shaven for fit testing Description: This position requires
experience in a fast-paced, high-turnaround unit. The unit has 32
beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4. Candidates should be
able to interpret EKGs and perform central monitoring. Common cases
include trached patients, CVA, TBI, spinal surgeries, and brain
tumors. Patients may present with various psych issues and
end-stage renal disease. There is no in-house hospitalist or
intensivist available. Respiratory therapy and pharmacy services
are available 24/7. Nurse aides are available during the day and
night shifts to assist with basic care. The hospital can cancel
shifts as per their cancellation policy. Floating to tele units and
tele overflow in ICU may be required. Shift assignments will
include weekend shifts as well as holidays based on coverage needs.
Candidates must demonstrate competency in nursing skills and
maintaining a sterile field. Education sessions will be conducted
for lifts, restraints, and wound care procedures. The electronic
