Job Description:
Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Technologist
Specialty: Computed Tomography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Nights
Mon-Thurs Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of
experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months License: ARRT
and CT Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: Siemens CT Experience,
Trauma Experience, Level One Experience Description: Minimum of 2
years of recent experience in Computed Tomography. Prefer
experience with Siemens CT systems. Experience in trauma imaging
and Level One facility is favored. ARRT certification and CT
credentials are required. A radiation badge is necessary for this
position. Department performs various imaging studies including
stroke, trauma, and emergency cases. The average number of
scans/studies performed daily is approximately 300. The department
uses Cerner for electronic medical records and picture archiving
systems. In-house radiologists are available during the day, with
tele-radiology services utilized during nights. Staff will not be
required to start IVs. The position includes call requirements
every 5th week on Friday and Saturday. Response time for call is
one hour. Scrub color is teal, and scrubs are provided.
Cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during
the 13-week assignment. Charting system used is Cerner.
