In this position, you will be responsible for managing inbound and
outbound calls in a timely manner. Your primary goal is to provide
excellent customer service, resolve customer inquiries, and ensure
customer satisfaction.
This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required
to work our normal business hours of 6:30am - 3:00pm CST. It may be
necessary, given the business need, to work occasional
overtime.
We offer 4 weeks of on-the-job training. The hours during training
will be 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within
the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
Reviews electronic chart documentation ensuring correct patient,
location, and no duplicate information.
Processes release of information (ROI) requests.
Manages requests for documentation and information.
Scans and edits documents in the electronic medical record.
Locates, logs, retrieves, files, and delivers medical records
stored in various mediums and systems.
May train and mentor co-workers.
Analyzes documentation and tracks completion to meet regulatory
requirements.
Promotes principles of health information accuracy, transparency,
currency, accessibility, relevancy, and reliability.
Work with Microsoft Word, Excel (create, edit, save documents and
spreadsheets) and Outlook (email and calendar management)
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
Must be 18 years of age OR Older
1+ years of experience in Customer Service within a hospital or
healthcare environment
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Ability to train for the first four weeks from 8:00am - 4:30pm CST,
Monday - Friday
Ability to work our normal business hours of 6:30am - 3:00pm CST.
It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional
overtime

Preferred Qualifications:
Health Information Management (HIM) experience
Experience working within the health care Industry and with health
care insurance
Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical
clinic setting
A clerical or administrative support background
2+ years of experience in Customer Service
Experience working in a call center
RHIT or RHIA certification
Knowledge of medical terminology
Previous experience communicating with patients & staff with
various educational & socio-economic backgrounds

Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if
applicable)
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is
separated from other living areas and provides information
privacy
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group
approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing
high-speed internet service
If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be
required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app,
Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone
system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group - approved symptom

The hourly range for this role is $16.88 to $33.22 per hour based
on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including
but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience,
certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum
