Job Description Job Description Job Title: Construction Technician $24 Job Description As a Construction Skilled Laborer, you will be responsible for the installation of equipment, primarily focusing on fuel tank installations at new gas stations or fuel storage facilities. This position requires frequent travel, with 50% of the work being out of town. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment and perform general cleanup tasks. Unpack and move heavy parts such as gas pumps, electric motors, and turbines. Lay pipes in trenches, connect pipes, and perform light shovel work. Clear dirt from trench bases to allow equipment to settle. Mix and apply concrete, and dispose of debris. Travel to different sites around Arizona, with occasional overnight stays. Essential Skills 2 years of experience in construction. Experience with heavy equipment operation. Piping experience, including working with double wall, flexible, and fiberglass piping. Valid driver's license. Mechanical inclination. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Wayne, Gilbarco, Verifone, Veeder Root, Passport POS Systems, Fuel Management Systems, and Tank Monitoring Systems. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Excavation experience with equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, and forklifts. Why Work Here? Expect to work 8-10 hour days, totaling 40-60 hours per week, with frequent travel to sites around Arizona and home on weekends. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
