Director, Product Marketing for the Property and Casualty Marketing
team.We offer a flexible work environment that requires an
individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can
be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano,
TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, or Tampa, FL.
Relocation assistance is available for this position.The USAA
P&C Marketing team is a key growth engine for -USAA, with a
laser focus on our mission -to serve the military community and
their families. The P&C Marketing team is passionate about
driving growth in multiple P&C products, with a primary focus
on our core Personal Lines products: Auto, Home, and Renters
Insurance. - Our team of Marketing experts is focused on
understanding the needs of current USAA members and prospective
eligible members to deliver the right message at the right time to
drive consideration and conversion of USAA products. - We develop
product-specific go-to-market plans, marketing strategies, and
creative -assets, informed by data. Our marketing campaigns reflect
our brand personality, our mission to serve those who serve, and
the value of our products and services. We are driven by
performance with a continuous improvement mindset, rooted in
results optimization supported by test and learn. -The Director
leads a team of product marketers that acquire new accounts, shape
and implement product-specific marketing strategies, focus on
performance metrics, and deliver measurable results. Product
marketers accelerate growth through continuous test-and-learn
agenda, improvement of paid marketing efforts, and expert
allocation of marketing investments. The team will ideate, plan,
launch, measure, and optimize marketing campaigns to drive
sustainable growth at efficient Cost per Account (CPAs).
Accountable for a large marketing budget and will collaborate
closely with internal stakeholders such as Brand, Product, Risk,
and Analytics to drive growth via both new-to-USAA members as well
as cross-selling to existing members.This role will lead marketing
relationship with Home Insurance, Renters Insurance, Specialty
Products and International business partners.What you'll do:
- Directs and oversees the planning for a fully digital-first
marketing lifecycle, inclusive of strategy, member research,
planning, direct response marketing, agency management, creative
development, compliant execution, analytics and optimization, and
performance management.
- Directs and oversees the development and implementation of
marketing plans and campaigns to build and deepen USAA's
relationship with existing members, and drive acquisition of new
members.
- Responsible for supporting the marketing budget allocations
across products and channels to deliver sustainable growth at
efficient Cost per Account (CPAs) at scale.
- Drive the strategy for the digital acquisition experience, lead
adoption of new ways of working, and leverage storytelling to drive
understanding & adoption of change.
- Leads a team to embrace safe & sound business practices at
scale.
- Knowledge of product related regulations, and risk and
compliance requirements.
- Ability to leverage external knowledge regarding the digital
space and established a network of external partners to inspire
out-of-box thinking.
- Keep USAA brand and mission to serve the military community at
the forefront of new marketing practice.
- Attract, develop, expand, and retain high performing teams of
marketing professionals that deliver outcomes and key results.
- Cultivate talent through coaching and training. -
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are
effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in
accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.What
you have:
- Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration or 4
additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required
may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in financial services with
hands-on experience in conversion channels (i.e.: Paid Search,
Affiliates, Direct Mail).
- 3 years of people leadership experience in building, managing
and/or developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to coach and guide a team to excel in the skill and
responsibilities required to be successful in their roles.
- Proficient in collaborating with key partners and stakeholders,
influencing decisions, and managing work to achieve strategic
goals.
- Strong business acumen in the areas of business operations,
industry practices and emerging trends.
- Ability to seek and analyze data from a variety of resources to
support marketing decisions and alignment with key
stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Product Marketing, including providing input
into growth objectives, developing marketing plans, performance
reporting, and driving incremental growth consumer definition,
situation assessment, financial analysis, and marketing
strategy.
- Understanding of specific laws and rules that govern fin serv
products (TILA, Reg Z, UDAAP, etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency with marketing data analytics
including the ability to analyze and evaluate information.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written) with the
ability to adjust communication style based on the audiences.
- Ability to exercise appropriate judgment by using information
and knowledge to make timely, effective decisions.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal
supervision.
- Ability to adjust scope or resources as appropriate, mitigating
potential risk to projects.What sets you apart:
- US military experience through military service or a military
spouse/domestic partner [optional]
- Hands on experience in driving results in a direct-to-consumer
distribution model across offline and online marketing channels,
including proven track record in conversion channels (e.g. Paid
Search, Affiliates, Direct Mail).
- Proficiency in Insurance products and business model -
including product features and pricing model, market dynamics,

offer:Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing
market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain
competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your
experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for
this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position
is: $138,230 - $264,200.Employees may be eligible for pay
incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance
